My Controversy

So I was looking through the internet today and came across this article that caught my attention.  With Trump in the Presidential spotlight every little bit of dirt on him is being dug up to be used against him and this is one of those pieces of dirt.

This article, called "Ex-Wife: Donald Trump Made Me Feel 'Violated' During Sex" is about how Donald Trump treats women. According to the article, Trump repeatedly made his wife feel disgusting and unsafe when they would have sex, one time ripping out her hair and practically raping her. The article contains multiple anecdotes about Trumps repeated sexual misconduct and inappropriate actions towards women along with sexist comments about rape and women.

This caught my attention and was of interest to me due to the fact of the hypocrisy and improper conduct in the public eye. The reason this is of interest to me is because of the possibility that Trump could become president and the more and more dirt like this that comes up makes it less and less likely that he will become president.

Calendar Reflection

IN my calendar it appears I have the most amount of uninterrupted  time Sunday, Thursday and Friday.  With that said a lot of the time I hang with people on those days or do other things besides homework. Where I think the majority of my work for English will be accomplished will be when I have breaks between classes.

Aside from the breaks between classes, another time that I will be able to accomplish homework is the block of time from 8 at night to 11.  By dedicating this time period to homework every single night it should be relatively easy to accomplish each blog post and/or writing assignment for English in three days.

This also gives me a nice chunk of time to work on other types of homework. The most effective way at completing this is to go to a coffee shop or somewhere on campus away from the distractions at home to be able to successfully complete the assignments in a timely manner.

EDIT:

Reading other people's blogs noticed that one person had the same problem as me that with work, school and other personal plans I would not have much time for homework, so like Jacob, I plan on utilizing passing periods and such to work on homework.  One person that I admire for her ambition is Chelsea who I wish I had as much ambition for things and was able to be ahead on all my work.

My Writing Process

After reading through the reading  I have realized that my specific writing process is more complicated than I originally thought.  I also have realized it may be best to change my writing process due to the many flaws in my process.

I consider myself to be a heavy planner. Although I do consider myself to be a heavy planner, I tend to also procrastinate, but I only procrastinate on the writing portion, not the planning part making it easier for me to sit down and write out the entire thing in a couple hours.

Up until now my writing process has succeed most times, however there have been a few time in which I have procrastinated on writing the actual paper that I failed to complete it on time.  While the planning tends to be a very strong portion of my writing process, the actual writing tends to air on the side of weakness.

The one thing that I may want to try differing with my writing process is to quit procrastinating with the writing portion so that I will have time to get edits on the paper from peers.  If I was to change my writing process it would change from heavy planner and procrastinator to a heavy planner and heavy reviser

EDIT:
Going through some of my classmates blogs, it appears that heavy reviser has a lot of definite benefits like getting help from peers and instructors on how to improve my essay.  Most notably Mike explains the revision process and makes it seem like you need to write the paper a while before it is due to be a good heavy reviser.  Hallye has the same problem that Mike faces that time is the main constraint.  If I was to be a Heavy reviser I'd have to be on top of things and write my papers long before they are due to be able to be a heavy reviser.
